Ear tags can be applied in breeding populations for epidemic prevention and control, meat quarantine, and all information needed for management of livestock.

Instructions for Use:

1. Install the ear tag horizontally by pressing the clamp plate.
2. Ensure that the tag is securely installed onto the pin of the applicator.
3. Prepare the Tag: Disinfect the tag and applicator according to the instructions.
4. Restrain the Animal: Ensure the animal is securely held to prevent movement.
5. Position the Tag: Place the tag in the middle/lower part of the ear, about one-third from the head and two-thirds from the tip.
6. Avoid Cartilage Ridges: Avoid piercing the ridges of cartilage to prevent ear deformities and infection.
7. Apply to Cattle: When tagging cattle, insert from the back of the ear, and after insertion, rotate the tag 180° so that it faces downwards.

This method ensures a secure and proper placement to minimize risk to the animal.

Special Note:

• The hole size of the male ear tag must match the pin size of the applicator.
• It should be neither too loose nor too tight.
• Different shapes and sizes of ear tags require matching pins.
